QUIKRETE® Mason Sand is suitable for field-preparation of mortar.
PRODUCT USE: A washed, properly graded fine masonry sand.
USE FOR: Mix with QUIKRETE® Portland Cement & Hydrated Lime - Type S or with QUIKRETE® Masonry Cement to make Base Type N or Type S mortars.
To make mortar, mix QUIKRETE® Mason Sand with QUIKRETE® Portland Cement and QUIKRETE® Hydrated Lime - Type S or QUIKRETE® Portland-Lime Cement in accordance with ASTM C 270. Alternately, mix QUIKRETE® Mason Sand with QUIKRETE® Masonry Cement in accordance with ASTM C270. Meets ASTM C144 specifications
